Hey there. :)

I've been learning to play the Mario Air Platform theme for a couple of days now, and I am having trouble with the fingering on the first part.

CLICK ME!

I've taken the liberty of uploading a .png version of the part I'm having trouble with. Measures 2-9, right hand. Do you have any tips on how to do it? Can someone here who knows the song write in some fingering charts? I'm trying to challenge myself, and refuse to simplify the song at all... but I'm stuck here. It sure is annoying.

Anyone care to help out? Thanks so much! :)

For the right hand, I suggest using Pskim's arrangement. His is more accurate especially the 9th measure, which will be slightly different.

Measure 2: All lower A and Db notes is 1. All E notes are 2. All G notes are 4. All top A notes are 5.

Measure 3: All bottom A notes are 1. All D notes are 2. All F notes are 3. All top A notes are 5.

Measure 4: All bottom G notes and B notes are 1. All D notes are 2. All F notes are 4. All G notes are 5.

Measure 5: All bottom G notes and C notes are 1. All E notes are 3. All G notes are 5. Both Gb and F is played with 4 (slide the 4th finger down).

Measure 6-8: Repeat Measure 2-4.

Measure 9: The first note is 1. The E and C is 2 and 5 respectively. The G is 3. The G after (using Pskim's arrangement) is 2. A is 3. B is 4. C is 5. E, G, C is 1,2, 5 respectively. D, G, B is 1,3, 5 respectively. E,G,C is the same as the previous.

This is how I played it using Pskim's arrangement.

Hey, thanks a lot! That helped. Also, thanks for your suggestion about Pskim's arrangement. I'll look in to it.

Thanks!
